Prior to the lengthy march, the PDM’s steering committee had finalised preparations for shutter down and wheel jam strikes, while deciding to speed up the anti-government activity.
In the federal capital of Pakistan, Islamabad, the PDM steering committee met. The meeting, which lasted four hours, was attended by representatives of opposing parties.
The conference focused on how to deal with the growing anti-government movement and protests.
