Prime Minister Imran Khan praised the Turkish model of systematic and organised religious education system on Monday, emphasising bilateral collaboration in this area to share best practises and knowledge.
The Prime Minister was speaking with Prof. Dr. Ali Erbas, the Head of Turkey’s Presidency of Religious Affairs, who had come to see him.
He emphasised that Dr. Erbas’ visit will aid in the building of ties between the two nations’ religious organisations.
The Prime Minister expressed his delight at Pakistan and Turkey’s exceptional bilateral relations, which span a wide range of religious, cultural, linguistic, and educational ties, as well as people-to-people interactions and shared interests — a partnership unlike any other.
He praised Turkey’s leadership and government for their unwavering support for Pakistan in the Jammu and Kashmir conflict.
The Prime Minister praised Turkey’s close collaboration with Pakistan on a combined anti-Islamophobia programme.
Prof. Dr. Erbas reaffirmed Turkey’s consistent stand on the illegally occupied Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
He praised Pakistan’s formation of the Rahmatul-lil-Alameen Authority and offered Turkey’s support.
Prof. Dr. Erbas also conveyed the Prime Minister the warm wishes of the Turkish leadership and emphasised Turkey’s intention to improve bilateral relations with Pakistan in all areas.
