ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan stated on Sunday that the federal cabinet has decided to invest an additional Rs500 billion for the development of South Punjab.
PM Imran Khan pledged Rs500 billion in extra cash for the development of South Punjab today while speaking to a large crowd in Mailsi city. He also stated that he will propose a bill in the National Assembly to create the province of South Punjab.
“We’ll see whether the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) approve this action or not.” Both [opposition] parties want South Punjab to become a province for a long time.”
