The governing Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has chosen to eject two dissident Sindh Assembly MPs for voting against the party’s choice in a Senate election on Wednesday.
According to reports, the two MPAs, Karim Bux Gabol and Dewan Sachal, voted in the election for the empty Senate seat, but the PTI and its supporters boycotted it.
According to sources, Imran Khan will receive a letter requesting disciplinary action against both MPAs. The PTI is also considering taking action against the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
