In Pakistan, gold registrations are on the rise, as are global markets.

KARACHI: Gold prices rose on Saturday in both Pakistan and international markets.

According to Muhammad Arshad, Chairman of the All Pakitan Jewellers Manufacturers Association, the precious metal increased by Rs750 per tola on Saturday, the last day of the business week.

The price of a tola of 24kt gold has risen to Rs131,750 after a jump of Rs750 rupees.

The price of the rare yellow metal increased by $7 on the international market, reaching $1,957 per tola.
