On late Tuesday night, the combined opposition parties were successful in gaining the support of a crucial PTI-led government ally, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).

According to reports, a team of allied opposition parties met with Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leadership in Parliament Lodges and resolved all issues between the two parties.

According to united opposition sources, all issues with the MQM-P have been resolved, and a formal draught in this respect will be prepared soon. They also stated that the major news will be announced soon.

Following the new development, the leadership of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), including Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Shahbaz Sharif, Asif Zardari, and Bilawal Bhutto, arrived at the Parliament Lodges to address a press conference alongside MQM-P leaders, but the press conference was later postponed.

According to a spokeswoman for the MQM-P, the deal with the unified opposition has been concluded. He further stated that the PPP and MQM-P Rabita Committee’s central executive committee (CEC) will approve the accord today. He also stated that a news conference will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. today (Wednesday).
