KARACHI: The election commissioners for Sindh and Punjab provinces have been reassigned, while an interim officer has been appointed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Ejaz Anwar Chauhan has been reappointed as Sindh’s election commissioner, while Saeed Gul, a Grade-21 officer, has been appointed as Punjab’s interim election commissioner.
It should be mentioned that an Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) team led by Saeed Gul investigated claims of vote manipulation in the Daska elections.
Gul has previously served as Sindh’s acting election commissioner.
