Shireen Mazari of the Pakistan Tahreek Insaf (PTI) has been arrested in Islamabad.

Anti-corruption Shireen Mazari, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and a former federal minister, was detained outside her home by Punjab and Islamabad police on Saturday, according to Channel News.

Shireen Mazari’s daughter, Imaan Zainab Mazari, said that her mother was beaten by male police officers and taken away. Imaan said that she was only informed of the activity by the police.
