On the call of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) head Imran Khan, police fought with demonstrators in Islamabad’s D-Chowk in the early hours of Thursday.

During the Azadi March in Islamabad, workers from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and police came face to face. PTI protestors threw stones at police and set fire to trees in D-green Chowk’s belts, prompting police to use tear gas to disperse them.

To fight demonstrators, police armoured vehicles arrived in D-Chowk. A police armoured vehicle was also set on fire by the enraged PTI protestors.
