LAHORE – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif announced on Friday a Rs14 per unit relief for homes that consume up to 500 units of energy.

The respite will be provided between August and September.

The former premier addressed at a press conference, flanked by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. He said that inflation has caused significant hardship for the common people.

During his address at Minar-e-Pakistan on October 21, he claimed to have shined light on growing living costs.
