ISLAMABAD – ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain, a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-(PTI) Insaf’s National Assembly (MNA), has resigned from his position.
The statement was made by the PTI leader in a tweet on the social networking site Twitter.
“My resignation from the National Assembly has been delivered. May Allah Almighty help Imran Khan and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Hafiz Allah, “he explained.
Aamir Liaquat had previously declared in July 2020, “I am a powerless MNA of Karachi, unable to give energy to the people of my city.” I can’t stomach witnessing Karachi’s pain and anguish, as well as [K-Electric CEO] Moonis Alvi’s lies.”
He stated that he had requested a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan so that he could offer his resignation to him in person. The prime, on the other hand, had refused Aamir’s resignation. In tweets, the MNA cited PM Imran as saying, “You are an asset for Tehreek-e-Insaf; there is no need to abandon anything.”
