ISLAMABAD – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi stated that our reservations about the Lahore bombing were confirmed, adding that India is funding and training terrorists.
The Foreign Minister stated in a statement that India not only gives financial assistance to terrorists, but also training, and that Pakistan would continue to expose India’s participation in terrorist operations in the area.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi questioned if the international community would notice India’s financial assistance for terrorism. He stated that as a sovereign state, we have every right to protect ourselves.
In an earlier interview with state media, FM Qureshi claimed that Afghan authorities’ unjustified criticism of Pakistan was proof of their policies’ failure.
He expressed confidence that the majority of Afghans were aware that a strong relationship with Pakistan would be beneficial to them.
