ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – The administration may schedule a combined meeting of the two chambers of Parliament, which was called off last week, tomorrow (Tuesday).
The coalition partners met Prime Minister Imran Khan after the government addressed the coalition parties’ concerns for a joint session of parliament, according Pakistani sources.
Following a discussion between coalition partners and Prime Minister Imran Khan, a joint session of parliament is expected to be called tomorrow, and the federal cabinet meeting scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed due to the potential of a joint sitting.
It’s worth noting that the administration postponed a joint session of Parliament on November 10 in order to obtain an agreement on other topics, including election changes.
