Kangana Ranaut found herself in deep water on Tuesday after members of the Sikh community lodged a FIR against her for infringing on their religious sensitivities.
The Bollywood star uploaded a photo on her Instagram account in which she allegedly made harsh remarks towards farmers and referred to them as ‘Khalistani.’
“Khalistani Terrorists may be bending the government’s arm now, but remember the lady prime minister crushed them beneath her heel…
Regardless of how much pain she gave our country, she squashed them like mosquitoes at the cost of her own life…
yet did not allow the country to disintegrate…
even decades after her demise…
They still quiver when they hear her name…
They require gurus like her.

The FIR, which was filed by representatives of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC), stated that Ranaut’s above-mentioned comments disrespected Sikh faith.
