SHUJABAD/VEHARI/BAHAWALNAGAR – At least three people were killed and 27 others were injured in traffic accidents across Punjab on Friday.
Two people were murdered and three others were injured in various traffic accidents in Shujabad, according to reports. The deceased and injured have been taken to the hospital by rescue crews.
A father, his wife, and two children were injured in the second accident, which happened on Multan Road in the Tiba Sultanpur district of Vehari, when their automobile collided with another car. The wounded people were taken to the hospital.
The third disaster happened near the Sutlej River in Bahawalnagar, when a bus transporting wedding guests went turtle, killing a four-year-old kid on the scene and wounding 20 others. Rescue crews arrived on the scene and transported the deceased and injured to the hospital.
