ISLAMABAD – The number of registered political parties at the Election Commission has begun to rise, with eight new parties being added to the list.
The number of registered political parties has climbed to 135, according to data supplied by the ECP.
Awami Tehreek, Pakistan Mohafiz Party (National), Qaumi Awami Tehreek Pakistan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Ittehad, and First Democratic Front Pakistan are among the newly registered political parties. One of the newly registered political parties is the People’s Alliance.
Aam Aadmi Movement and Kisan Ittehad are also among the new political parties, according to the ECP. Surprisingly, only 16 political parties are represented in Parliament, out of a total of 135 political groups.
