ISLAMABAD: Fawad Chaudhry, the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, claimed on Thursday that political parties like the PML-N and the PPP were “only alive because of media attention.”
Speaking to media with Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication Shahbaz Gill, Chaudhry poked fun at the PML-N and the PPP, despite the PTI suffering a crushing defeat in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa local body elections.
Instead of celebrating the success of other Opposition parties in the KP LG elections, PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz should express compassion with her party’s lost candidates and inspire them after their humiliating defeat, he added.
