LAHORE: PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif predicted Pakistan’s demise on Thursday if the PTI-led government is not deposed.
“God forbid, if this administration is not deposed, we could see Pakistan’s khuda hafiz — so brace yourselves,” the PML-N president remarked during a party meeting in Lahore.
According to the PML-N president, the time has come to terminate this administration “that was constituted as a consequence of rigging,” and that Quaid-e-Azam “may be turning in his grave.”
He slammed the PTI’s policies, saying: “I reported the existence of a NAB-Nazi link 3.5 years ago. The country has been mortgaged to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).”
In a jab at Prime Minister Imran Khan, he added that if the premier enjoys “unveiling so many plaques,” he should have told him because he would present him a plaque for “unveiling so many plaques.”
