Vaccination only provides protection against Omicron: NCOC

SLAMABAD (CNN) – According to the National Command and Control Center (NCOC), immunisation is the only way to protect against the Omicron version.

The NCOC stated in a tweet that the globe is seeing a fresh wave of coronavirus outbreaks as a result of Omicron. People are recommended to be fully vaccinated and to support their government in the fight against coronavirus.

Furthermore, Pakistan has recorded three deaths in the previous 24 hours caused by a new coronavirus, bringing the total number of positive cases to 1,294,861. On Thursday, the total number of fatalities in the United States had risen to 28,921.

According to the most recent National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) data, 482 people tested positive with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
