According to Dunya News, dense fog covered portions of Punjab, including Lahore, on Sunday and Monday night, severely affecting vehicle traffic and paralysing daily life.
The Motorway M2 section from Thokar Niaz Baig to Kot Momin, the Motorway M3 from Faizpur to Jaranwala, the Motorway M4 from Abdul Hakim to Khanewal Interchange, the Motorway M5 from Sher Shah to Zahir Pir, and the Motorway M11 from Mahmood Botti to Sambrial have all been closed for all types of traffic due to low visibility.
The highway police have encouraged drivers to turn on their fog lights when travelling at a modest pace because visibility has been reduced owing to intense fog.
The motorway police have also asked people to stay at home and avoid needless travel since visibility was extremely low owing to severe fog in several areas.
