ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Faisalabad on Wednesday to inaugurate the Quami Sehat Card for Faisalabad division citizens.

Farrukh Habib, State Minister for Information and Broadcasting, made the announcement during a press conference following the PTI Central Executive Committee meeting, which was led by Prime Minister Imran Khan today in Islamabad (Monday).

The prime minister will be accompanied by Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and members of the federal cabinet.

He stated that free medical treatment via the Sehat Card will be available throughout the province by March of this year.

The Qaumi Sehat Card is a groundbreaking government project that would give free medical treatment at government and selected private institutions up to one million rupees.

On February 1, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan launched the Naya Pakistan Qaumi Sehat Card Program in Punjab’s Bahawalpur Division.

The prime minister stated during the launching event that health concerns create economic problems for the people, and our objective behind this programme is to at least relieve them of the economic hardship when they get ill.
