BAHAWALPUR: Divisional Commissioner retired Capt Zafar Iqbal, Punjab Secretary for Tourism Asadullah Faiz, Sahibzada Usman Abbasi, Sahibzada Faizul Rashid Abbasi, and retired Brig Basharat were among those who unveiled the award.
The commissioner thanked the people of Bahawalpur for hosting the jeep rally for the past 16 years in his speech. With presence from all four provinces, he said the gathering was a step toward building the country. He praised the Abbasi family’s commitment to the event’s marketing.
Tourism, according to Secretary Asadullah Faiz, is critical to the country’s economic growth. Sifari, chairlift, and cable projects would be launched by the tourist department at Ghazi Ghat in Dera Ghazi Khan in south Punjab, he added.
Usman Abbasi, Sahibzada, expressed his expectation that the competitors will display a high level of driving ability. Aamir Magsi and Runi Patel, two other participants, also talked.
