Pakistan has reported 43 deaths in the last 24 hours caused by a novel coronavirus, bringing the total number of positive cases to 1,503,873. On Wednesday, the total number of fatalities in Pakistan reached 30,096.
According to the most recent National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) data, 1,232 people tested positive for COVID-19 in the previous 24 hours.
In terms of fatalities, Punjab remains the worst-affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
So far, 13,471 people have died in Punjab, 8,045 in Sindh, 6,226 in KP, 1,007 in Islamabad, 784 in Azad Kashmir, 374 in Balochistan, and 189 in Gilgit Baltistan as a result of the epidemic.
