Despite a ban, the fatal game of kite flying persists in several areas of the nation, as a 24-year-old young man was killed in Lahore on Wednesday after a kite string sliced his neck.
Danial, 24, was riding his motorbike in the Iqbal Town district of Lahore when the string of a wayward kite twisted around his neck, leaving him in a pool of blood, according to reports.
Rescuers transported the injured to a hospital, where he died while receiving treatment. Meanwhile, Fiaz Ahmed, the CCPO of Lahore, has taken notice of the terrible occurrence and has requested a report from DIG Operations.
