On Thursday night, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) and the chairman of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), paid a visit to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shahbaz Sharif.

The two leaders met in Islamabad at the house of PML-President Shahbaz Sharif, during which they discussed the country’s present political crisis in the aftermath of opposition parties’ no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan in the National Assembly.

During the meeting, JUI-F leader Akram Durani and PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal were also present.
