The Supreme Court will examine the SCBA’s request to halt protests ahead of the no-trust motion.

The Supreme Court will hear a plea filed by the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) requesting that all parties refrain from conducting public demonstrations at D-Chowk ahead of the opposition’s no-confidence vote against Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The SCBA petition will be heard by an apex court division bench chaired by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial. Political party representatives and attorneys will appear before the Supreme Court today.

Shahbaz Sharif, the PML-N president and the National Assembly’s opposition leader, as well as PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, will appear at the Supreme Court.
