The US disputes Prime Minister Imran’s accusation of plotting to depose him.

The US State Department dismissed Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s accusations that the US is participating in a plot to depose him on Thursday.

The charges, according to State Department spokesperson Ned Price, have “no validity” to them. “We are keeping a careful eye on events in Pakistan. We value (and support) Pakistan’s constitutional process and the rule of law “Price said.

Meanwhile, White House Director of Communications Kate Bedingfield stated on Thursday that there is “absolutely no truth” to reports that the US is collaborating with Pakistan’s opposition to depose Prime Minister Imran Khan.

During a news conference, Bedingfield stated, “There is simply no truth to that claim.”
