NEPRA has increased the power tariff for K-Electric customers by Rs1.29 per unit.

The National Electronic Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) approved a Rs 1.29 increase in power tariffs for K-Electric customers for a month as part of a fuel price adjustment on Monday.

NEPRA has ended its hearing on K Electric’s request for a Rs3.45 per unit increase in electricity prices in February’s monthly fuel adjustment.

Following the hearing, the authority decided to raise the price of power for K Electric customers by Rs 29 paisa per unit, although a more thorough judgement and notification will be made later.
