In a rocket and rifle attack on a police vehicle in Dera Ismail Khan on Monday, at least five officers accepted martyrdom, while four more were injured.
According to sources, the incident occurred in DI Khan’s Kulachi tehsil, when miscreants fired a rocket and also resorted to indiscriminate gunfire on the DSP Kulachi vehicle, killing five police officers.
The attack also injured four other officers, including DSP Kulachi Fazal Subhan. The miscreants managed to flee following the incident, according to police sources.
