In North Waziristan, seven troops were slain and four militants were killed.

When terrorists attacked a military convoy along the Pak-Afghan border in general area Isham in North Waziristan District, seven troops accepted death and four terrorists were also killed.

According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) release, the forces launched an immediate reaction, efficiently engaged, and killed four terrorists on the scene. During the heavy exchange of fire, however, seven troops chose martyrdom.

On the other side, a clearance operation is ongoing in the region to remove any terrorists.
