Former Pakistan bowler Aqib Javed has encouraged Chairman PCB Ramiz Raja to quit and go with dignity before the new government removes him.

Aaqib Javed’s successor, Najam Sethi and Zaka Ashraf, are both strong prospects.

Ramiz Raja has stated that he would not resign from his job, and that the Prime Minister has the authority to maintain or remove him.

According to Aqib Javed, it is not necessary to be a player to lead the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), but administrative experience is required.
