While rejecting to serve in the federal government led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Awami National Party (ANP) chairman Asfandyar Wali Khan stated on Sunday that their focus is the people, not being in the cabinet.
In a statement issued on Monday, he stated that other allies should be granted cabinet roles because the administration is already in hot water and they do not want to add to their difficulties.
The ANP chairman stated that while he was thankful to the PPP and PML-N for asking them to join the federal government, considering their problems, he proposed that the other allies be granted a seat in the cabinet.
