Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif named Syed Tariq Fatemi as his special assistant for international affairs on Wednesday.
“The prime minister has been pleased to appoint Syed Tariq Fatemi as special assistant to the prime minister on foreign affairs, with immediate effect, in accordance with Rule 4 (6) of the Rules of Business, 1973 read with serial no. 1A of Schedule V-A of the said rules,” the Cabinet Division stated in a notification.
Fatemi, who was dismissed from the same post in 2017 for her involvement in the infamous Dawn Leaks under the Nawaz Sharif administration, has named a day after 33 ministers took their oaths in the new federal cabinet.
