ISLAMABAD (Channel News) – Imran Khan, chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and former prime minister, published a white paper on the Sharif family’s issues on Sunday.
Imran Khan told a news conference that he is presenting the white paper because there are 16 charges of 40-45 billion corruption against Sharifs, and they are now seeking another NRO.
Former Prime Minister remarked that the PML-N and PPP administrations were both removed on corruption accusations, and that they are currently attempting to resolve their cases.
Imran Khan further stated that the current administration is attempting to reassign the investigating officer in their cases. The PTI Chairman further said that the record of cases filed against them might be lost.
Former President Asif Ali Zardari, according to Khan, took three bulletproof automobiles from Toshakhana, while Nawaz Sharif legalised his car after 10 years.
PTI Chairman stated that both parties – PPP and PML-N – intend to steal the country once more, but they have no idea how angry the people are.
“The imported government has been forced on us, and they intend to restart the corruption business,” he claims.
He referred to the charges against himself and his party officials in connection with the Masjid-e-Nabwi incident as “foolish.” He added that such leaders will be dealt similarly in other parts of the world.
“They don’t grasp Pakistanis’ wrath against them.”
Imran stated that the government should be ashamed of accusing him and his accomplices of organising the Masjid-e-Nabwi tragedy.
