Ten people were killed in a ‘racially motivated’ shooting at a grocery shop in the United States

Authorities say an 18-year-old heavily armed man shot 10 people dead at a Buffalo, New York grocery store on Saturday in a “racially motivated” attack that he live-streamed on video.

According to Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia, the gunman was caught after the shooting while wearing body armour and a helmet.

Gramaglia reported ten killed and three injured. Eleven of the victims were black people.

According to Gramaglia, the shooter shot four persons in the parking area of the Tops supermarket, three of whom died, before going inside and continuing to fire.
