Raja Riaz, a dissident member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was elected Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly.
The petition was signed by 17 members of the National Assembly and delivered to the National Assembly Secretariat.
Raja Riaz received the endorsement of 16 members after the inspection, and the National Assembly Secretariat will make the formal notification.
