Every step is conducted at Shehbaz’s request: Elahi
Elahi condemned the arrests and raids, saying that they were carried out at the request of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
“The Sharifs’ faces are being revealed in front of the country as the government takes unlawful actions,” Elahi remarked.
“The father-son combo are doing this to the legislature because they have less numbers,” Elahi stated, alluding to PM Shehbaz and Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz.
He questioned how he could take over as Punjab governor when Omar Sarfaraz Cheema was still in office. He stated that he is still running for the position of CM.
Despite the security situation around the PA, the speaker encouraged MPAs to attend.
“Today, the assembly will undoubtedly convene. Let’s see who prevents elected MPAs from accessing the legislature “Elahi went on to say that they will stand firm against the government’s fascism.
He stated that all MPAs will attend the meeting since no one can prevent elected representatives from attending.
