The Federal Cabinet has resolved to halt the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s long march and has reaffirmed that the government will safeguard the safety of citizens’ lives and property.
The federal cabinet has also determined that no one will be able to bring Islamabad to a halt.
In the meantime, the Police Committee, led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, agreed not to compromise on the state’s writ.
The committee also believes that these rallies have the potential to devastate the economy, which will have a direct impact on daily wagering.
