KARACHI – Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), said on Sunday that the nation was dealing with the worst crisis in its history.
The ousted leader stated the nation may bring about both prosperity and fall while speaking to a women’s gathering via video connection. The nation, he said, was at a turning point. Returning to the 1990s, Mr. Khan said that after the 1990s, the nation began to experience a crisis.
Mr. Khan reaffirmed his desire for free and fair elections, stressing that only with open elections would there be a chance for a genuine administration.
Mr. Khan attacked the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), alleging that it was already planning to impose its rule in Punjab.
He emphasised that the nation could only be saved by a strong administration.
Mr. Khan said that there was only one person to blame for the present state of affairs when discussing the challenges facing the nation.
He also issued a warning that the national crisis will worsen over the next several days. Mr. Khan said, “Seven months ago, I predicted the current turmoil in the nation.
“For 20 years, both of these two governing dynasties have been flinging accusations at each other,” Mr. Khan blasted the PML-N and PPP leadership.
Mr. Khan made fun of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), claiming that the leadership of the PDM only displayed its performance via propaganda and ads.
Political engineering, according to Mr. Khan, is not meant to be a problem-solving strategy.
Mr. Khan bemoaned the lack of flour for the common people, alleging that people were dying for the sake of flour and that the present situation was forcing them to leave the nation.
Mr. Khan made fun of the coalition government by pointing out that the reason the current administration was elected was to carry out the plans of the nation’s adversaries.
Mr. Khan issued a warning to the state institutions, saying that if the situation was not under control, the nation would get mired in trouble, similar to what had happened to Sri Lanka.
In order to draw attention to the inflation, Mr. Khan said today that the nation was now facing the highest inflation in its 50-year history and that it would not abate.
“We are flooding into the streets for the sake of the nation, not the ministries,” Mr. Khan remarked while discussing his battle.
