According to people familiar with the situation, Uber Technologies (UBER.N) Chief Financial Officer Nelson Chai plans to quit the ride-hailing company.
According to the story, Chai notified Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi of his plan to leave, but no decision on the timetable of his departure has been made.
Uber did not immediately reply to a request for comment from Reuters.
Uber’s stock dropped roughly 1% in after-hours trade after closing modestly lower on Monday.
Chai joined Uber as finance head in 2018, and he led the firm through its IPO a year later.
