China and Russia collaborating on a joint lunar research outpost

(Web Desk) – An official agreement published on the Russian government website on Thursday states that Russia and China are working together to construct a joint Moon outpost, which will be built in three parts.

Three phases will comprise the development of the International Scientific Lunar Station (ISLS): research, creation, and operations.

Establishing a control center, transporting large amounts of goods, making a precise soft landing on the moon, and starting cooperative activities are all part of the second phase.

With the aim of landing people on the Moon, the third phase will concentrate on researching and exploring the Moon, testing technologies, and supporting international partners in lunar missions with the use of the finished ISLS.
