The International Islamic University of Islamabad has declared that all of its “Constituent Units shall stay closed from May 2nd to May 6th, 2022 (Monday to Friday) in conjunction with Eid Ul Fitr 2022.”

The holiday notification has been authorised by the President of the Islamic University.

After an unusually scorching Ramadan, Eid Ul Fitr is just around the corner. The first day of Eid is slated to be May 3, 2022, on Tuesday.

The Pakistani government released the Eid holiday schedule earlier this week, which spans four days. The four-day vacation will begin on Monday, May 2nd, and will remain through Friday, May 5th (Thursday). Before being made public, the notification was authorised by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

According to some reports, the Prime Minister was first issued a three-day vacation request, but he granted four days instead.
